Adelaide has won both the games till now and are looking in great form as they thrashed the star studded Melbourne Stars in the first game of the Big Bash League and that too inside 13 overs while the second match they played was more of a close affair which they won by one wicket.
They do not have big names at the top but they have the top three performing for them with the wicket keeper batsman Tim Ludeman scoring an impressive 92 in the first game. Lower down the order they have blitzering names in Kieron Pollard and the ever experienced Brad Hodge. The bowling department is being guarded by Captain Johan Botha as well as Kane Richardson and Ben Laughlin

Adelaide Strikers Squad :
Big news for the home side is that the paceman Shaun Tait returns for them in the squad for tomorrow’s game. He can be wayward but is a big asset for any team given the pace with which he bowls.
Also big hitting batsman Jono Dean has also been added to the 13-man squad while spinner Jon Holland and bowling allrounder Hamish Kingston have been left out of the squad.
The 13-man squad is :
Johan Botha (C), Brad Hodge (VC), Jono Dean, Travis Head, Ben Laughlin, Trent Lawford, Tim Ludeman, Kieron Pollard, Kane Richardson, Alex Ross, Craig Simmons, Shaun Tait, Adam Zampa.
Hobart Hurricanes Squad :
The 13-squad for the game against Adelaide Strikers is unchanged for Hobart Hurricanes as they will be hoping to get back on the winning ways.
The 13-man squad look like :
George Bailey (C), Time Paine (VC), Cameron Boyce, Xavier Doherty, Ben Dunk, Evan Gublis, Alex Hales, Ben Hilfenhaus, Joe Menine, Darren Sammy, Van Der Gugten, Jon Wells.
The Pitch :
The tournament opener was played at Adelaide and 148 was the score Melbourne managed after batting first. Also the square boundaries here were huge.
The pitch is expected to be the traditional Adelaide wicket with something in it for both bowlers and batsmen. Spinners will play a key role with those huge square boundaries.
The Odds :
Hobart Hurricanes is 1.83 to win the game and given their batting fire power the favourites tag is justified. But Adelaide Strikers are no mugs as they have won their two games out of two and we think they are good to make it three out of three. We are backing Adelaide Strikers to win the match.
