Game 21 : Big Bash League 2014-15
Sydney Thunders Vs Hobart Hurricanes
Big Bash league is into the business end and any slip up here could cost the team a berth in the semi final bus. All the teams except Sydney Thunders have played at least five games each and with two more games to be played and looking at the point table it can be said that any team can make it to the semis.
Sydney Thunders have had a roller coaster Big bash league till now with lost two and won two out of four games played and sitting on the fringe at number four. A win in the game tomorrow would make their position a bit more comfortable in lieu of other teams and with one game in hand.
The matches they have played have either gone wholly in favour of them, no hue and cry in the manner they have won or lost the matches. The two matches they have won have been solely on the basis of their batting with the batsmen scoring 208 and 179 in the games they have won. While they managed a paltry 114 runs in 3rd game they played. while in the other lost match they were unable to chase 180. Two veterans Kallis and Michael Hussey have led their team from front.
Hobart too have had strange performances as they chased a record 209 runs and in the next match they played were unable to chase 163 runs against Melbourne Stars. They have a decent team and it is expected of them to be in the top four.
