England Team Preview for World T20 2016

There is a world cup in sub continent guess England is the first team to be written off given their ineptitude against the spin. But looking at their performances and intent after their world cup 2015 dismal show has prompted to get a look into the team. A relatively weaker group will definitely be a shot in the arm for the British. Apart from South Africa none of the teams look in form with Sri Lanka and West Indies in shambles.

Since the last World T20 they have won four T20 International series out of six they played and of the nine matches they were triumphant in the six of them. They whitewashed Australia 3-0 in England. However, they lost 2-0 to South Africa in a series which had positives for England.

With key players like Joe Root, Jos Butler, Alex Hales and Adil Rashid in form, contributions from their spinning all rounder Moeen Ali will be an added advantage for them. Their fixtures are at Mumbai, Dharamsala and Delhi of which the former two are expected to be batting paradise which suits their style of play.

Liam Dawson, the slow left arm orthodox, is the only new face in the squad. England will hope that their usual suspects fire as they have been doing in the last 10 months and also they have one of the strongest middle order in the tournament and if Ben Stokes and Eoin Morgan play with their ability it will be world cup to remember for England and their fans.
